Schengen 90/180-day calculator

Add each trip to the Schengen area. We count every day from entry to exit and check the 180 days before each one, the same way the rule is written in EU law.

Your trips (entry and exit dates)

Only short stays count. Don’t enter time spent on an EU residence permit or long-stay (D) visa. Nothing you type is sent to us; trips are saved only in this browser.

How the count works

What the Entry/Exit System changes

The EES became fully operational on 10 April 2026. It replaces passport stamps for non-EU short-stay visitors and records your entries and exits digitally, so overstays are detected automatically. If you stay longer than allowed, you’re added to a list of overstayers that border, immigration and visa staff can see. Passport control officers can tell you your maximum remaining stay.
